What we offer you is the knowledge that while your vessel is transiting the Gulf of Aden, or other hostile waters, it will be watched over by our security flights or our skilled on-board security operatives. Our operatives and flights remain with the vessel for as long as it takes to pass safely through those world renowned and troubled shipping lanes.
Our highly trained staff will relay up to the minute intelligence of what and who is around them on their journey. In addition to this, all information gathered will be returned to a base station for collation and forwarding to the relevant agencies, governments or naval forces.

Why Over-Watch Flights?
At Over-Watch we are of the firm belief that having an aircraft gather and collate intelligence into a true picture of what lies ahead and forwarding it to ships captains and authorities is the way forward. This is a belief that is shared by many in the maritime industry.
The service that we offer will relay all information of suspicious vessels in the surrounding area, to an Over-watch security operative/Air controller on-board your vessel, which will allow him to inform the captain of any threats well in advance. The captain can then plan the vessels course alterations with this up to date Intel.
The Over-watch operative can then set in place a defence plan, that has been practiced by the crew and signed off on by the client and captain.
What we are offering is not a new idea; it is the same service that every coast guard in the world offers. The problem lies in the fact that not every country in the world has a coast guard service. Using Over-Watch flights solves this problem and in effect gives you your own personal coast guard service that will not leave until you have passed safely through the troubled areas. We feel this is the safest way to secure your vessel whilst it is transiting certain areas of the world.
Are Over-Watch Flights a Deterrent?
In a word, yes! In areas associated with “pirates”, such as the Gulf of Aden, Somalian coast, Nigerian coast, an aircraft circling overhead means one thing, government authority; and this is something that these people do not have much of. To these people that means “bigger weapons” and the threat of capture by international navy’s.
The waters in the Gulf of Aden are patrolled by international naval vessels from the likes of the United Kingdom, United States, E.U, Russia and China to name but a few; that however is 2 million square miles of ocean which is a massive task for anyone. It is therefore very possible that should you ever need naval assistance there will be none close at hand!

Our operatives have been highly trained in maritime security procedures by some of the worlds best military and coast guard services.
These operatives have secured vessels in many hostile areas of the world for their governments and now they are available to you to secure your vessel by being on-board or by utilising the convoy escort service. Our operatives will give you the same commitment and determination they gave their governments.
Are Over-Watch Security Operatives A Deterrent?
Yes we are. Why? This is because any pirate will be able to see, from a distance that the vessel they are attempting to board has a specially trained team of security operatives on-board or they will see an Over-Watch escort vessel providing convoy security and they are prepared to counter any threat. The security team and the crew will have prepared your vessel and set in place a security plan which will start as soon as the pirate vessel is sighted. The Security Escort vessel will have their own security plan in place that will be initiated as soon as a pirate vessel is detected. This hopefully will mean the pirates will move away and try else where, possibly for a vessel that is not protected by Over-Watch operatives.
Our operatives will be gathering as much intelligence from the encounter as possible and passing this information on to our base station; this information will then be collated and sent to the local governments, the nearest naval force in the area, as well as any other vessel(s) under our protection in the area.
